Coming in 2026! CCS Boys Tackle Football (Grades 5–6)

For the fall season of 2026, CCS is starting its first-ever year of elementary tackle football! In partnership with the junior high and high school football programs, we are adding a team for elementary students in grades 5–6 that will participate in the Nisqually Junior Football League (NJFL).

2026 Season

Season: July-November

League: Nisqually Junior Football League (NJFL):

The Nisqually Junior Football League (NJFL) is a nonprofit organization whose sole purpose is to provide youth football in North Pierce/South King County areas. Click on the links below for more information regarding the league:

Competition:

• First Games: Begin in August (No games Labor Day weekend.)
• Season Games: Every Saturday and Sunday
• Semifinals: November (Generally the first week)
• Championships: Second weekend in November

Practices: Practices begin End of July – Early August (The date practices start is tentative and subject to change.) Practices are held at the CCS Junior High and High School fields, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. (Location and time may be subject to change). There will be 3–5 practices per week, Monday–Friday, (tentatively) starting July 28–August 1, 2026.

Weigh-ins/Jamboree: Middle of August (See weigh-in information above by clicking “League Rules.”)

Program Fee: $450 (If you are interested in a payment plan, please feel free to contact us.)

Refundable Gear Rental Fee: $200 due at gear pickup.

Includes through CCS rental:

• Uniform
  • Jersey
  • Pants
• Helmet
• Shoulder pads

These items must be returned by the end of the season in order for you to receive your refund.

Required Equipment (not provided by CCS):

• Cleats (no metal studs)
• Padded football girdle
• Mouthguard
